This A380-800 features a four class configuration with 12 First Class closed suites 60 flat bed Business Class seats 36 Premium Economy seats and 333 standard Economy Class seats. First Class is situated at the front of the main deck on the A380.
Business class Club World includes 97 seats. BAs decision to install its newest seat on these aircraft indicates that unlike some other airlines it has no intention of retiring the A380 anytime soon. The latter has a quirky layout that feature 17 seats while all others have 14 seats like the A380 and 747. A modified Prime seat was introduced with BAs 787-9. British Airways first class refresh is more likely to refine this seat rather than re-engineer it to include the likes of a sliding privacy door meaning the airline will instead seek to double down on the broader first class experience. First class of the Airbus A380 operated by British Airways has 14 seats that have 180 degrees recline. The Prime seat was introduced in 2010 and is currently the oldest first class seat to be found on the British Airways fleet. The 97 Business Class seats are spread over 3 cabins. The palette of charcoal silver and gold takes its cues from the first class of BAs Boeing 777-300ER and Airbus A380 flagships below. BA went for a 1-2-1 configuration with Qantas going a 1-1-1. First Class is situated at the front of the main deck on the A380.
